The President of the Nigeria Bar Association Abubakar Balarabe Mahmoud SAN, on the 6th of October 2016 inaugurated The Nigerian Bar Association Stamp Review Committee headed by Mrs. Boma Ozobia with a core mandate to review the entire NBA stamp policy.
The committee is expected to identify and recommend solutions for factors militating against speedy delivery of stamps to our members and review the separation of stamps between lawyers in private practice and other areas of practice.
The committee during its meeting held on the 31st of October, 2016 unanimously agreed that memoranda can be submitted by our members to the committee on how best to achieve a more efficient and speedy delivery of stamps and the current dichotomy in stamp policy.
