Renowned Jurist Deji Sasegbon is Dead

The chairman/editor-in-chief of dsc Publishers Limited Deji Sasegbon is dead. Details of the death of the renowned jurist who made invaluable contributions to the legal profession through his publications  are still sketchy but close sources said he died after a brief illness.
Deji Sasegbon graduated from the University of Ife Now Obafemi Awolowo University in 1979 and was called to the Nigerian bar in 1980. He was a prosecutor with the ministry of justice for about a decade before he left  to establish both dsc Publisher and his ultra-modern law firm Deji Sasegbon & Company in 1986.

Through his dsc Publications, Sasegbon published books and reference materials to make legal practice much more easier and rosier. He is renowned for his landmark works like the Nigerian Supreme Court Cases nscc now in 38 volumes, the legal desk book and the companies and allied matters law and practice and his most recent addition, legal electronic publishing which is aimed at publishing electronically decisions of the appellate courts in Nigeria
Sasegbon was also instrumental to the publication of the “Nigerian Companies And Allied Matters Law And Practice” which today remains one of the most comprehensive publications on the provisions of the country’s Companies an Allied Matters Act of 1990.
The renowned jurist would be greatly missed and his contribution to the profession would forever be remembered.
