The Chief Judge of Enugu state, Hon. Justice N P Emehelu has appointed Chief Magistrate Linda Okibe, the new Chief Registrar of Enugu state high court. Until her appointment, Magistrate Okibe has been the administrative magistrate in many magisterial districts of the state
She replaces Hon. Justice Ebele Mabel Egumgbe who has been appointed a judge of Enugu state judiciary. She will was sworn in on Friday alongside Hon .Justice Ugonne Jacinta Nweze who was also elevated to to bench as a judge of the customary court of Appeal Enugu state. Before Justice Nweze’s appointment she was the former deputy chief Registra/ Inspector of customary courts, customary court of Appeal Enugu state
CR Linda Okibe has since assumed duties at the Enugu state judiciary headquarters, independence layout Enugu.
Their elevations coincided with the international day of women being celebrated all over the globe today
