The Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (BOSAN) made history on Saturday evening with its very first official dinner which doubled as the welcoming of the newly elevated silks.
The dinner which which took place at the Intercontinental Hotels, Lagos was well attended by the cream of the leadership of Nigerian lawyers.
Among eminent personalities who graced the event were the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, GCON, SAN. Hon. Justice John Inyang Okoro, JSC, who represented the Chief Justice of Nigeria, the Hon. Justice Walter S. Onnoghen, Hon. Justices K. B. Akaahs, JSC; Paul Galinje, JSC; and Olukayode Ariwoola, JSC, Chief Judge of Lagos State, Hon. Justice O.O. Oke.
Others are Dr. Christopher Kolade, CON, Nigeria’s former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom who gave the key note speech and Senior Advocates from across the country including Chief Folake Solanke SAN, first female senior advocate of Nigeria. Many attended the event with their spouses.
