The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria has expressed shock over the demise of the Rivers State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Chief Hon. Emmanuel Chiwenwo Aguma, SAN who was until his death, husband of FIDA Country Vice-President Mrs. Inime Aguma.
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of FIDA Nigeria, Princess F. Frank-Chukwuani, Hon. Aguma SAN was described as a philanthropist who promoted the welfare and good causes of everyone in his environment.
“The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria received with a rude shock and deep sense of loss the sudden demise of the Rivers State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Chief Hon. Emmanuel Chiwenwo Aguma, SAN.”
“Hon. Aguma, SAN was the beloved husband of our Country Vice-President/National President, Mrs. Inime Aguma. Until his death, he served Rivers state with an amazing sense of responsibility, passion, courage and competence.”
“He was also a philanthropist who promoted the welfare and good causes of everyone in his environment. He used his good office to ensure that the rights of women and children in Rivers state was preserved by providing free legal representation to them.”
“He also supported all the activities of FIDA Nigeria most especially in Rivers State.”
