Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun has called for speedy delivery of justice in the state by judges.
Amosun said this after the swearing-in of three judges during the Executive Council meeting at the Governor’s Office in Abeokuta on Monday.
The judges are Justice Oluwabamise Osunfisan, Justice Olusola Oloyede and Justice Olatunde Oyajimi.
Amosun urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them and perform their duties.
He said their swearing-in was to strengthen the administration of justice in the state.
He told the new judges to discharge their duties without fear or favour.
Speaking with newsmen after the ceremony, the state Chief Judge, Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu, promised that the judges would deliver as per their mandate.
Osunfisan, after taking the judicial oath and the oath of allegiance, promised to support the Chief Judge and the judiciary to ensure that the sector performs maximally according to expectations.
