NBA-SBL Inaugural Mentorship Program; Application Closes Nov, 16

On behalf of the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association – Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL), we are pleased to announce that the final processes for the launch of our mentorship program is ongoing and you are hereby invited by the NBA-SBL to apply for participation in the inaugural NBA-SBL Mentorship Programme (the “Programme”).

The Programme will operate in various regions of Nigeria for a duration of nine months (November 2018 – July 2019) and would cover areas of law office management, professional & personal development, ethics and client communication, amongst others. Selected mentees will have the opportunity to develop technical knowledge as well as acquire soft skills from learned senior practitioners in the legal industry from across various focus areas in renowned law firms and companies.

To apply, you are required to complete an application form and forward with your one page CV (clearly stating your year of call).

Application Closes 6pm on Friday, November 16, 2018.

This Programme is open to only young lawyers who are SBL Members with 1 – 7 post call experience level.

Only Successful Applicants will be contacted by November 23rd at the latest with further details of participation, however, please note that Mentees would be expected to handle all their expenses on matters relating to the mentorship. The offer of mentorship does not amount to an offer of employment and he/she will not be regarded as an employee of the assigned mentor. Mentees will not be remunerated during the mentorship period.
