Breaking: President Buhari Appoints Justice Kanyip as Ag President NIC

By the provision of section 254 (B)(5) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended), the President, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of  the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari GCFR has appointed Hon. Justice Benedict Kanyip as the acting President of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria with effect from 1^st October 2019 following the retirement of the Quintessential Jurist, Hon. Justice Babatunde Adejumo, OFR whose retirement is on 30^thSeptember 2019 upon attainment of  the constitutional statutory age of 65 years.

My Lord, Hon. Justice Benedict Kanyip will be sworn-in on 2^nd October 2019 by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, His Lordship, Hon. Dr. Justice I. T. Muhammad at the main court of the Supreme Court of Nigeria by 11.00 am.
