The Acting Chief Judge of Lagos State, Honourable Justice Kazeem Alogba, Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN and Prof. Kanyisola Ajayi SAN are some of the confirmed dignitaries who would grace the public presentation of Babalola’s Law Dictionary, 2nd Edition scheduled to hold in August 2019.
Written by Lagos Lawyers and Public Interest Litigation expert, Olumide Babalola, the law dictionary a first-of-its-kind reference material is an assortment and assemblage of words and phrases as defined or adopted by the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court as far back as 1955.
The theme for the event is “The need to dispense with lengthy judgments/rulings in our quest for quicker justice-delivery system: Argument for and against.”
Learned Discussants shall address topics from the perspective of: the Judiciary, Courtroom Practitioners, Academia, Human Rights Activists and Litigants.
The event is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 21st August 2019 at 10am prompt at the Westwood Hotel, 22 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Justice Alogba would chair the event while Chief Olanipekun would present the keynote speech. The book reviewer is Prof. Kanyi Ajayi SAN.
