SAD: FIDA, Friends Mourn the Death of 30 Year Old Iye Naomi Momoh

The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Abuja Branch is mourning the sudden and untimely death of one of her own, Iye Naomi Momoh. Unitl her death, Iye was an active member of FIDA Kogi State Branch.

“We pray that God will grant her family, both immediate and extended, the fortitude to bear this loss.”

“May Almighty God grant her peace as she continues to rest in His bosom.” the statement read in part.

Amidst shock and disbelief too, Iye’s friends have continued to pay moving tribute and prayers seeking God’s mercy and eternal rest upon her.

“Death why do you have to do this? Why must it be now? and why must it she? I remember how good you have been to me in Aveco Model college Makurdi, Qua Iboe church lobi quarters and kogi state university. What becomes of your business models and the school you are planning to set up, death may have taken u away from us, but could never take away your memories continue to rest in the lord my legal lion Barrister Naomi Iye Momoh”

Iye Naomi Momoh was until her death a Legal Officer with the Ministry of Justice, Kogi State and a member of FIDA. She was a graduate of law from the Kogi State University and an alumni of Aveco Model college Makurdi.  According to report, Iye was found dead in her room. She was born on September 9th, 1989 and died on the 30th of June 2019 at age 30.
