The 2nd Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Dr. Foluke Dada who recently transferred her membership of NBA from Ado-Ekiti Branch to Lagos Branch has explained that the relocation of her legal practice from Ekiti State to Lagos State necessitated her move.

Dr. Dada who was recently appointed an executive member of the NBA Women Forum had by a letter of resignation dated September 13, 2019 notified the Chairman of Ado-Ekiti Branch of her intention to resign her membership of the branch.

“May I seize this opportunity to appreciate the entire members of the Ado-Ekiti Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association for the confidence reposed in me to serve the Ekiti Bar and contribute to the development of the mother branch”

May I also inform the Branch that my practice has been relocated to Lagos, hence the necessity for a reconsideration of my Branch membership. It is therefore necessary, courteous and professional that I inform the Ado-Ekiti Branch of my decision to resign my membership of the Ado-Ekiti Branch as I have moved my membership to the Lagos Branch of the NBA with immediate effect”

Dr. Dada in her resignation letter also pledged to continue to support in pushing forward the virtues of Ekiti Bar within and beyond the borders of Nigeria.
