Decongest of Correctional Centres: Ogun Judiciary Sets Up Bondsmen Regulations Board


The Chief Judge of Ogun State, Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu FICMC is taking further steps to decongest Correctional Centres across the state by introducing the bondsmen regulations and bondsmen licensing board in the state.

According to a statement issued by the State Judiciary, the development is in line with the present administration’s Seven Point Agenda on Repositioning the judicial system through decongesting of Correctional Service Centres across the state.

The members of the Bondsmen Licensing Board, includes, Hon. Justice A. A. Akinyemi, as Chairman, Mr. M. A. Akinyemi, member, Mr. S. O. Banwo, member and Mr. O. Oyefeso member.

Hon Justice Dipeolu charged the board members to see themselves as lay officers in the temple of justice and therefore must always cooperate with Judicial Officers in the performance of their duties.
