The Federal High Court of Nigeria will embark on its 2020 Christmas vacation on Tuesday, December 22. In a statement issued by the Chief Judge of the court, Hon. Justice John T. Tsoho, the court said its holiday would last till Jan. 8.
“…the Federal High Court will proceed on its Christmas vacation for the year 2020 from Tuesday, 22nd December, 2020 to Friday, 8th January, 2021.”
Vacation judges assigned to attend to urgent cases relating to the enforcement of fundamental rights, arrest or release of vessels, and other matters of national interest are:
- Lagos Division: Hon. Justice M.S Hassan;
- Port Harcourt Division: Hon. Justice A.T Mohammad and
- Abuja Division: Hon. Justice N.E Maha.
The court will resume sitting in all judicial divisions on Monday, January 11, 2021.
