Lagos Court Fire: LMDC Postpones All Activities, Hints on Virtual Dispute Resolutions

The Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse (LMDC) has announced the indefinite postponement of all its scheduled activities following the recent fire incident that completely destroyed the Lagos High Court Igbosere which houses the Multi-Door Courthouse.

The Director of the LMDC Mrs. Adeyinka Aroyewun who made the announcement earlier today also hinted that where all necessary conditions are met, the LMDC would ensure that resolution of cases continue online.

In her words;

“Following the recent fire incident at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse, we regret to announce the postponement of all scheduled activities until further notice.

However, to provide an avenue for resolution of disputes despite the recent happenings, kindly note that where all necessary conditions are met, the LMDC is committed to ensuring the resolution of cases continue online.

We thank you for your encouragement and support in this difficult period and firmly believe that the LMDC will arise stronger and better.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all persons and organizations who have been adversely affected. May God heal and restore peace to our Nation.

God bless the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse.

God bless the Lagos State Government.
