Lagos Land Registry Shuts Down Indefinitely

The Lagos Land Registry has been shut down to members of the public indefinitely.  The closure according to a notice issued by the Registry is to serve the public better and to fast track digitization of service at the Registry.

The notice announcing the indefinite closure of the Registry, signed by the Lagos State Register of Title Mrs. Mulikat Alli- Balogun reads in part:

“The Land Registry will be closed to the public from 28th October, 2020 till further notice.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause members of the public. The temporary closure is to serve the public better and to fast track the digitization process.”
