NLS Mourns the Death of Ibrahim M. Saad’deen, Suspends All Academic Activities for One Week

Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Saad’deen (1973-2020) died on 23 May 2020, after a brief illness. Before his sudden death, Mr SA’AD was a Senior Lecturer in the Corporate Law Practice Department of Nigerian Law School, Augustine Nnamani Campus, Enugu.

A statement officially announcing his demise, and signed personally by the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma, SAN reads as follows:

“With deep sense of loss but with total submission to the will of GOD, the Council of Legal Education, Management, Staff and Students of the Nigerian Law School announce the passing away of one of its teaching staff, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Saad’deen on May 23, 2020 at the age of 47. He has since been buried in accordance with Islamic funeral rites. He is survived by a wife, children, aged parents and other relations. May GOD grant eternal rest to his soul and fortitude to his family, friends and colleagues to bear the loss. “

Many Lecturers interviewed by our reporter testified to how good and committed the deceased was as a lecturer, and how amiable and friendly he was with both staff members and students of the institution. They each expressed grief at his sudden passing to the great beyond. The Nigerian Law School is currently in a mourning mood as a result of this unfortunate development.
