Total E & P Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society has nominated the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ikorodu Branch as its partner for its 2020 Corporate Social Responsibility Project.
The nomination was conveyed to the NBA branch by Nneka Nwana, the Team Lead, Financial Service Department of the Cooperative Society.
The email noted that the legal aid of the NBA branch has been nominated to partner with the Cooperative to undertake community service that would impact communities positively. “We are pleased to inform you that the Legal Aid for NBA has been nominated to partner with Total E & P Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited for the 2020 Corporate Social Responsibility Project. Through this partnership, we hope to contribute positively to the communities we operate in and impact the lives of many . Please furnish us with your bank details so we can extend our support.” The email read in part.
Reacting to the above development Mr. Akinlade expressed gratitude to the Cooperative for its generosity and confidence in the NBA to protect the rights of the indigents vulnerable persons. “These grants we receive encourage us to do more. Our volunteer lawyers contribute far more in the value of their professionalism and expertise put into helping citizens.” Mr. Akinlade stated.

This is the second time that the NBA Ikorodu is receiving grant of this nature from the multinational oil company.
