A Federal High Court Judge, Honourable Justice Ibrahim Watilat is dead.
According to report from the Nation Newspaper, Justice Watilat died in the early hours of Monday, January 25, 2021, in an Abuja hospital of an undisclosed ailment.
It was reported that just last Tuesday, the late judge convicted and sentenced two internet fraudsters to six months and four months imprisonment respectively. He found the duo guilty of criminal impersonation filed separately against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibadan Zonal Office.
Justice Watilat was born at Marama, Hawul LGA, Borno State on 12th May, 1963 and was appointed as a Federal High Court judge on December 2, 2015.
