Lagos CJ Relocates Igbosere Magistrates’ Court [See Schedule]

By a circular dated 7th June, 2021, titled; Temporary Relocation of the Magistrates at the JIC Taylor Court House, the Chief Judge of Lagos State, Honourable Justice K.O Alogba has temporarily relocated the Magistrates sitting at the Igbosere Magistrates Court.

The magistrates were displaced when hoodlums destroyed courts in Lagos State following the #EndSars Protest.

The circular which was signed by the Chief Registrar, Mrs. O.A Okunuga and addressed to the Magistrates reads in part:

“I am directed by the Honourable Chief Judge of Lagos State, Honourable Justice K.O Alogba, to notify your Honours of your temporary sitting arrangements as contained in the attached schedule.”

“The new sitting arrangement is to take effect immediately the courts are open for normal court business”
