Templars Announces New Collaboration to Launch Firm in Ghana

Templars, one of the leading law firms and the “largest firm by head account” in Nigeria has announced its plan to expand its practice to Ghana.

In a recent publication, the firm hinted that it is collaborating with AMPEM Chambers to set up Templars Ghana.

The publication reads in part:

“We are excited to  announce the next step in our growth with a collaboration with AMPEM Chambers to launch a new law firm to be known as TEMPLARS in Ghana.

The new firm will not only provide clients with first rate legal services in Ghana but will also provide a strategic base for clients looking to access other key hubs in the West African region and other parts of Africa.

As part of the expansion, we will welcome a 12-person team of highly experienced Ghanaian lawyers, many of whom are also qualified in other jurisdictions. The new team will work closely with colleagues in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt to provide clients with seamless high-quality services across markets.

Lawyers at the new firm have deep knowledge of the Ghanaian economy and will offer full commercial legal services and strategic dispute resolution support across all sectors of the economy, including mining, energy, infrastructure, financial services, education, franchising, telecommunications, tax, and fintech.

TEMPLARS is the largest law firm in Nigeria by head count and has been involved in some of the most significant, complex, and high value legal work in Africa to date. This collaboration with AMPEM Chambers strengthens our offering across West Africa and clients will further benefit from the deepened resources of the new firm.”
