Messrs Fidelis Adewole and Okechukwu Okoro have been appolinted Managing Partner and Deputy Managing Partner of G. Elias law firm respectively.
Announcing the appointment, the firm in a publication noted: The Partners of G. Elias are pleased to announce that effective April 1, 2023, Fidelis Adewole became the firm’s Managing Partner, and Okechukwu Okoro, its Deputy Managing Partner. Each of them has been responsible for managing critical multinational and other clients and is recognized in international directories of lawyers.

Fidelis Adewole (Managing Patner)
He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma where he graduated top of his class. He won two awards at the Nigerian Law School: Prince Bola Ajibola’s prize for being the most proficient student in Civil Procedure Paper; and Dr. Mudiaga Odje’s prize for being the most proficient student in Civil Procedure and Criminal Procedure Papers. Fidelis is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is also an Associate of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. He is a Notary Public.
Fidelis’s practice covers dispute resolution, corporate, taxation, projects and, insolvency and restructuring. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, a Notary Public and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).
Okechukwu Okoro (Deputy Managing Patner)
He holds a bachelor of laws degree from Ebonyi State University and a Master of Law from Bayero University. His practice focuses on electric power, oil and gas, banking and finance, labour, immigration and dispute resolution. He has advised both public and private sector, local and international clients on several large, innovative, and complex transactions across in the electric power and oil and gas sectors.
Okechukwu is recognized and ranked in the leading international directories of lawyers including the IFLR and Legal 500. He has published well-considered articles on topical legal issues in the Nigeria energy space. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar.
