15 Law Students Emerge Winners of the ‘Reginald Aziza Leadership in Law Scholarship 2022’

Fifteen Law Students from various law faculties of law in Nigeria have been awarded the 2022 Reginald Aziza Leadership in Law Scholarship. This is an increase in the number from the previous year where ten students were awarded the scholarship.

The scholarship will will cater for their tuition fees, and provide them with tailored mentoring and support in the course of their studies at the Nigerian Law School.

In addition, this winners also stand the chance to receive a free wig and gown set from Solohan & Co if they achieve first class grades at the Nigerian Law Schoolat the conclusion of their studies at the Nigerian Law School.

Dr. Reginald Aziza wrote:

With special thanks to the very kind support of Wola Joseph Joseph and the generosity of several anonymous donors, I am pleased to announce the following 15 individuals as the recipients of the Reginald Aziza Leadership in Law scholarship for 2022:

7. Sulaimon A. Badmus (Lagos State University)
8. Anyasonye C. (Rivers State University)
9. Adeyinka Adeoye (University of Ibadan)
10. Akeju Olusegun (University of Ibadan)
11. Chinedu Patrick Aneke (University of Nigeria)
12. Ruth Chukwu (University of Nigeria)
13. Barbara Egbo (Rivers State University)
14. Innocent Uzoma (University of Nigeria)
15. Abam Miracle (Rivers State University)

Each of the awardees displayed exemplary academic ability and leadership, in the midst of the most severe financial limitations.

The scholarship will cater for their tuition fees, and provide them with tailored mentoring and support in the course of their studies at the Nigerian Law School.

In addition, with thanks to the generous support of Omojo Wada, recipients of the scholarship who achieve first class grades at the Nigerian Law School would receive a free wig and gown set from Solohan & Co., at the conclusion of their studies at the Nigerian Law School.

I am convinced each of the awardees is a future star of the Nigerian legal profession, and I am excited about the heights they will attain.
