2023 General Election: A’ Court President Constitutes Election Petition Tribunal in Bornu State

The Appeal Court President, Hon. Justice Monica Bolna’an Dongban-Mensem, has constituted  the  Governorship, National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunals for Bornu State with the mandate to  hear and determine  Election Petition(s) that  may arise from the upcoming 2023 General Elections in the State.

The tribunal is constituted pursuant to the powers conferred on the President of the Court of Appeal by Section 285 (2) & (3) of the 1999 constitution of the Frderal Republic of Nigeria( as amended)

According to a press release by the Borno State Election Petition Tribunal Secretary, Tayelolu F.Adediji Esq., the sitting of the Tribunal is to be held at Maiduguri Borno State capital.

Members of  the  General Public are advised to contact the Secretary of the Tribunal  at the Registry/Secretariat of the Tribunal at the registry /secretariat of the Tribunal at the designated Court address
