Reps Seek NBA’s Input on Effective Implementation of the Students’ Loan Act

By a letter received on 18 August 2023, the House of Representatives Ad Hoc Committee on Students Loans and Access to Higher Education has invited the Nigerian Bar Association to a Legislative Summit on Students Loans and Access to Higher Education to be held on Thursday, 24 August 2023.

The Committee also requests the NBA to submit a memorandum suggesting strategies to be adopted in the development of the programme framework to ensure its effective and efficient implementation.

A notice issued by the NBA National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Akorede Habeeb Lawal in this regard, requestes members of the Bar who have contributions to make by way of suggestions/proposals, to submit same to the Head, Legal Regulatory and Compliance Department of the NBA, Ayodeji Oni, via ayodeji.oni@nigerianbar.org.ng or +234 803 345 2825. All submissions must be made before close of work on Monday, 21 August 2023.
