JUSUN Set to Embark on Indefinite Strike

Date:

The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, (JUSUN) has concluded plans to embark on an Indefinite strike.

In a circular issued on Friday, 29th of September, 2023, by the General Secretary of the Union, Mr. I.M. Adetola, all Branches and Chapters of the Union are directed to begin mobilisation for a total and indefinite strike action from the 3rd of October, 2023.

He stated that this development is in compliance with the directive of both the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), as JUSUN is an affiliate of the NLC.

Earlier this week, the NLC and TUC issued a statement declaring that they have decided to embark on an indefinite strike by the 3rd of October to force the federal government to address the excruciating suffering and hardship across the country, occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy.
