Man defiles landlady’s 13-year old daughter

A twenty-seven year old man, Lateef Adeleke has been arraigned at an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court for allegedly defiling his landlady’s thirteen year old daughter, Latifat Wasiu.
The mother of the minor, Mrs Kudirat Wasiu said the defendant Lateef was her tenant and usually patronized her soft drink business at Oja Oba area of Lagos Island.
On Monday September 19, Lateef was said to have bought a bottle of soft drink from Mrs Wasiu and the thirteen year-old girl was later sent to collect the bottle and that was when he allegedly had canal knowledge of the girl.
The defendant who pleaded not guilty said the girl lured him into the act.
According to the police prosecutor, Sergeant Ajaga Agboko the defendant was denied bail by Magistrate Ogunbowale.
The case has been adjourned till 10 November, 2016.
