NBA-AGC 2024: Anthony Atata to Chair Sports Committee

Anthony Atata, a sports lawyer and the current Chair of the NBA Lagos branch sports and recreation committee and a member of the NBA Sports committee will Chair the Sports Sub Committee of the 2024 Annual General Conference coming up in Lagos in August.

For sometime, Sports have become an integral part of the annual conference and the sporting and recreational activities during the conference have increased from just football to Table Tennis for men women and lawyers with disability, Chess and scrabble.

With Mr Atata heading the committee, there are expectations that more sporting events may be added . Mr Atata being a cycling enthusiast, cycling is suspected to emerge this year in Lagos.

Members of the committee include,Caroline Ladidi Anze-Bishop, Cyril ORIABURE , Clement Eddy OKHAIGBE , Adesuwa EREWELE, Umar Shehu GARBA, Olujimi OLUJIDE-POKO,
Farida Umar USMAN, Hadiza Nasir AHMAD.

The current Chair of the NBA Sports committee and former AG of Kano State, M.A Lawan shall oversee the activities of the committee.

More information regarding participation in the sporting events are expected to be released in the coming days.
