Kidnapped Secretary NBA Idemili, C.J.S.Azoro, Esq., Freed

Kidnapped Secretary NBA Idemili, C.J.S.Azoro, Esq., has been released by his abductors.

The above is contained in a notice issued by the Publicity Secretary of the Idemili Branch Mr. Chukwubuikem Obianyo.

His notice reads:

The Nigerian Bar Association, Idemili Branch (Fountain Bar), is relieved to announce the release of our esteemed Secretary, C.J.S. Azoro, Esq., from captivity after 16 harrowing days. Mr. Azoro was kidnapped a week after his wedding and held by his captors, causing significant distress to his family, colleagues, and the entire legal community.

Preliminary information indicates that he is well and unharmed. We thank everyone for their prayers, support, and solidarity during this difficult period.

The NBA Idemili Branch extends its deepest gratitude to the Nigerian Bar Association, the legal community in Anambra State and beyond, members of the Fountain Bar and all those who played a part in securing Mr. Azoro’s release. Your efforts and unwavering commitment to justice and good governance have been invaluable.

We ask for privacy and respect for Mr. Azoro and his family as they navigate this challenging time and work towards a full recovery from this ordeal.
