Ugwuadu Reginald Iheanyichukwu, MCIArb. (UK) attended Methodist Primary School and Government College Lagos both in Surulere, Lagos. He gained admission to study law at the University of Calabar, Cross-River State and graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Law, LLB (Hons) Degree and was called to the Nigerian Bar in September 1991.
He has over the years acquired expertise in commercial litigation, labour issues, capital market and arbitration. He was admitted as a Partner at the firm of Delaw Chambers in January 2009 where he heads the Litigation team, after working with the commercial law firm of Solola & Akpana, as a Senior Associate in the Corporate Commercial and Litigation Group. As an experienced Litigator, he has appeared in all the strata of Nigerian court systems. He is a quick witted but unassuming hard-nosed litigator with a number of successful litigation cases.

He has served the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in various capacities both at the National and Branch level. He was Secretary, LOC Ikeja Branch for NBA AGC 2011, Secretary, Electoral Committee NBA Ikeja Branch (2012), Vice Chair, LOC Port Harcourt Branch for NBA AGC 2014 and 2015, Secretary, Electoral Committee NBA Port Harcourt Branch 2016, Secretary, Law Review Committee NBA Port Harcourt 2016-2018, Member, LOC Port Harcourt Branch for NBA AGC 2017.
He was also a Co-opted Member, NBA National Executive Committee 2016-2018. PH Branch NEC Representative 2020-2022. Co-opted Member, NBA National Executive Council 2022/2024, Member, Catholic Lectors Association of Nigeria. And Member, Association of Catholic Lawyers of Nigeria, PH Diocese.
He is a family man and an advocate of high ethical standards in the legal profession. He was sworn in as a Notary Public in March 2017. As a vocation, Reginald lectured part time Business and Company Law at ICAN Tutorial Centre (Port Harcourt) and for relaxation, he enjoys listening to country music and he is an avid chess and scrabble player.
