Swearing In of New NBA National Officers Holds Thursday 29th August

The inauguration of the newly elected Executive Officers of the Nigerian Bar Association has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, 29th August, 2024.

According to a statement issued by the Co Chairman of the Joint Transition Committee, Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, PhD, the event will be hybrid; holding simultaneously at the Ballroom, Lagos Continental Hotel, Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State and via zoom conferencing.

The statement reads in part:

Following the election of new Executive Officers of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), with Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN as President, the new EXCO will be inaugurated at a ceremony to be held on Thursday, 29th August, 2024, at The Ballroom, Lagos Continental Hotel, Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

All guests and other attendees to the ceremony are expected to be seated at the venue by 10:30 am.

The programme of events will include Oath-taking, award and Inaugural Speech by the elected President.
