NBA to Lead Observation Mission for Edo Guber Elections

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has concluded arrangement to send significant observation mission to monitor the Edo State Gubernatorial elections scheduled for Saturday, September 21st, 2024.

According to statement by the Association, a team of NBA observers, including National officers, Secretariat staff, and selected members from the Edo State branches, is being assembled to monitor the election process. This effort is part of the NBA’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the integrity of democratic processes across Nigeria.

The statement noted that the NBA’s Second Vice President, Mrs. Bola Animashaun, will lead the distinguished group of observers in Edo State. Under her guidance, the team will observe the proceedings at various polling stations across the state.

The NBA’s involvement underscores the association’s dedication to promoting democracy, transparency, and the rule of law in Nigeria.
