Kebbi State Gov. Swears in 4 New High Court Judges, Approves N300m for Vehicles

Governor of Kebbi state, Dr Nasir Idris, on Friday administered oath of office to four new high court judges and two new khadis in Kebbi State.

Speaking shortly after the swearing in, the governor announced the approval of N300 million for the procurement of new vehicles for the new judges and khadis.

According to him, the welfare of judiciary staff is paramount to his administration just as he charged them to live above board by being fair to all manner of people in the discharge of their official duties.

Muhammad Nuradeen Abdulrahman, a famous lawyer, was among the four new high court judges who took the oath on Friday.

Before his appointment he was a just and fearless active lawyer, who always stood by the truth no matter whose ox is gored.

Top judicial officers and top political echelons in the state attended the swearing in ceremony, which was held at government house Birnin Kebbi.

Similarly, Governor Idris flagged off national qur,anic recitation competition at convocation ground of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi.
