DPLAN Opens for Membership Enrollment; Appoints Steering Committee and Board of Advisers

The Data Privacy Lawyers Association of Nigeria (DPLAN) has officially opened membership enrollment, inviting legal professionals, academics, and stakeholders to join a dedicated platform for advancing privacy and data protection law in Nigeria.

Founded in December 2024, DPLAN was established to promote and advance the field of privacy and data protection law while providing legal professionals with opportunities for networking, knowledge-sharing, and policy advocacy.

Steering Committee to Lead DPLAN’s Inaugural Years

To guide the association’s affairs for the first two years, a Steering Committee has been appointed, comprising experienced professionals dedicated to shaping the future of data privacy in Nigeria:

  • Dr. Faith Amarachi Okpara – Vice Chair
  • Mus’ab Awwal Mu’az – Secretary

Membership Opens April 1, 2025
