The Annual General Conference Planning Committee (AGCPC) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has announced plans to unveil the official logo for the 66th Annual General Conference (AGC), scheduled to hold in August 2026.
The logo unveiling ceremony is set for Friday, 16 January 2026, at 11:00 a.m., and will take place at the NBA House, Abuja. The event marks a significant early milestone in preparations for the Association’s flagship annual conference, which is widely regarded as the largest gathering of legal practitioners in Africa.
According to the AGCPC, the newly designed logo reflects the core values, vision, and aspirations of the Nigerian Bar Association. It is also said to symbolise the intellectual rigour, unity, and professional excellence that characterise the NBA Annual General Conference.
In keeping with the Association’s commitment to inclusivity and broad participation, the unveiling ceremony will be held in a hybrid format, allowing members of the Bar and other stakeholders across Nigeria and the diaspora to attend both physically and virtually.
The 66th NBA Annual General Conference, billed for August 2026, is expected to attract thousands of legal practitioners, jurists, policymakers, academics, and international delegates. The week-long conference will feature robust discussions, professional development sessions, and engagements on critical issues affecting the legal profession and national development.
Members of the Bar have been invited to attend the logo unveiling ceremony as momentum builds towards a successful 2026 Conference. Further details on the conference theme, programme sessions, registration process, and live-stream access are expected to be released in due course.
The NBA has advised members and stakeholders to stay connected to its official communication channels for updates and access to the live-stream link.
