Ogun State Judiciary Staff have been charged to make their commitments toward upholding the principle of Justice in the discharge of their duties in the year 2024.
The Chief Judge of Ogun State, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu who gave the advice at a Prayer Session to usher in the new year at the Judiciary Complex appreciated his brother Judges and the staff for their dedications and dutifulness in the year 2023.
Assuring the staff on a holistic welfare, Hon. Justice Dipeolu reiterated that his administration is committed to the seven points agenda which include a digitalised Judiciary, Prompt Disposal of cases with the establishment of Specialised Courts, Decongestion of Prison Formation across the State, a holistic welfare-based administration.
Other agenda are Zero tolerance for corruption, Provision of enabling, conducive work place and environment for Hon. Judges and staff of the Judiciary and transparent Administration with an Open door policy.
Earlier, in his word of exhortation titled “The Ambassador”, Pastor Paul Olatunde, charged the staff to be worthy representatives of Christ by making a resolution, have an intimate relationship with God and to deliver God’s message of love, unity, progress, and hope to mankind.
Thereafter, prayers were offered for Nigeria, Ogun State, the Hon. Chief Judge, Honourable Judges, Magistrates, Judicial Research Officers and other Members of Staff of the Ogun State Judiciary.
Also, at the Muslim prayer session which was held simultaneously at the Conference Hall of the State Judiciary Complex, Hon. Justice Olanrenwaju Onafowokan who represented the Chief Judge admonished the Muslim faithfuls to be more committed to their duties, stating that commitment to the principle of Judiciary is non-negotiable.
His Lordship thereby enjoined them to remain focused, loyal to the system and endeavour to make Ogun State Judiciary an envy among the comity of State Judiciaries
