Breaking news: Fundamental Rights: Sowore’s Suit Suffers Setback, As Judge Withdraws

The fundamental rights enforcement suit instituted by the #RevolutionNow protests convener, Omoyele Sowore, seeking an order for his release from the custody of the Department of State Service (DSS), on Monday (today) suffered a major setback as a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, presided over by Justice Ahmed Mohammed recused himself from entertaining the action.

It would be recalled that ever since Omoyele Sowore’s rearrest by the operatives of the DSS on December 6, 2019, barely 24 hours of being released from the agency’s detention lasting over months, there has been no fresh charge initiated against him.
