Burial Arrangement Announced for Former NBA Ikeja Chair Adesina Ogunlana

The burial arrangements for the late Adesina Ademola Ogunlana, Esq, former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ikeja Branch have been officially released.

The two-day event will begin with a Service of Songs/Wake on Wednesday, 11th September 2024, at the Bar Centre, GRA Ikeja, Lagos, starting at 4:00 PM. A Night of Tribute will follow at the same venue by 6:00 PM.

On Thursday, 12th September 2024, a Funeral and Commendation Service will take place at the Diocese of Lagos West (Anglican Communion), Chapel of St. Luke’s The Physician, LASUTH, Ikeja Lagos at 9:00 AM. The interment will follow immediately at the RCCG Memorial Garden, Redemption City, Mowe.

Members of the bar are encouraged to fully robe for the commendation service as a mark of respect for the late leader. The Bar has called on all members to participate in honoring the life and contributions of Ogunlana during these solemn events.

Ogunlana known for his fiery activism and popularly called Aluta passed on on the 6th of August, 2024 shortly after his 60th birthday celeberation.

The legal community mourns the loss of a respected leader, and heartfelt condolences have been extended to his family and colleagues.
