The National Association of Catholic Lawyers (NACL), Lagos Archdiocese, invites you to its 2nd Annual Conference, themed “An Independent Judiciary in a Democratic Polity.”

This highly anticipated event provides a platform where experts will discuss critical issues surrounding leadership, governance, economic development, and the future of justice in Nigeria.

Why this year’s theme matters 

In a democratic society, an independent judiciary serves as a cornerstone for promoting good governance, economic progress and social justice. The 2024 Conference will explore how the Judiciary can champion equity, fairness, and justice—especially for the vulnerable and indigent—amidst Nigeria’s evolving political landscape.
