Covid-19: NBA Gwagwalada 2020 Law Week Postponed Indefinitely

Date:

The 2020 Law Week of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Gwagwalada Branch earlier scheduled to hold between the 17th and 21st of April, 2020 has been postponed indefinitely.

The above notice was issued by the Chairman of the Branch’s Planning Committee, Mr. Isah Abubakar Aliyu.

Speaking on the reason for the indefinite postponement Mr. Aliyu noted:

“As you all know, the 2020 Law Week was scheduled to hold from the 17th to 21st of April, 2020. It has however become impracticable to proceed with the 2020 law week programme in view of the Covid 19 Pandemic that has become a serious health challenge the world over.”

“We have discussed with the Branch Executive Committee on the present challenge and we have their concurrence to postpone the NBA Gwagwalada (Eagle Bar) 2020 Law Week until further notice.”

“Be informed that the committee shall communicate a new date as soon as the circumstances permit.”

“We are currently reaching out to our invited guest, resource persons, partners and others on this development.”
