EBSU Law Graduate Dies in Fatal Accident

Date:

A final-year law student of Ebonyi State University (EBSU), identified as Nwusulor Dorathy Akuchi, has died in a fatal accident on her way to resolve a problem she had in school.

The deceased, who was the school’s first Female President of the Law Students’ Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), was on her way to the Lagos campus of the Nigerian Law School when the bus she entered had a fatal accident on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. She died on the spot.

In some of the posts made by her colleagues mourning her death, Dora as she was fondly called was said to have died with so much promising dreams.

“It’s so pathetic that your: big dreams, beauty, brain, courage and leadership qualities was painfully aborted yesterday, on ghastly motor accident.” Omogo Gabriel Ogayi wrote.

Another colleague of the deceased, Wes Mcben wrote a heartbreaking tribute;
OUR PRIDE IS GONE
Darkness Has Befallen Us
At Sun Rise.
We trusted the system and expected a better world but for our trust we were given packaged grief and history long agony.
Now we are left to grimble bitterly, not for a dead desire but a withered zeal
How the heart of men are evil and desperately wicked.
They took our joy when the dance stage was set.
My heart quakes at the journey you re set on and am shattered for the womb that sowed and reap not.
You win Dora Akuchi
You live on, my GENIUS
Rest On my PRIDE.
