A fake lawyer impersonating leading senior lawyer and former Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) President, Dr. Mudiaga Odje SAN, OFR has been arrested following efforts by NBA Warri Branch. Odje was NBA President between 1974 and 1976.
In a social media post, Dr. Akpo Mudiaga Odje, the Presiding Associate in Dr. Mudiaga Odje SAN & Co, praised the branch leadership for its vigilance which led to the arrest of the suspect.
He urged members of the public to “be very vigilant and always request meeting your lawyer in his/her office before you transact business with same, as impostors now target specific offices to impersonate for opportunity to charge high fees and hoodwink innocent persons in matters requiring legal attention.”
