Fallen Legal Hero: Late Mrs. Omobolanle Raheem

Mrs Omobolanle   Raheem Esq.  was born on the   29th   of   May    1981    in Ejire Memorial   Medical    Centre, Tokunbo, Lagos   Island   into   the   family   of Late Alhaji.   Bashir   Salami and Mrs.   Sherifat Salami who hails from Oyo State, Nigeria. She was the first child of her parents.

She  attended   Dodan   Barracks   Primary School, Obalende at her childhood after which  she proceeded   to Holy  Child  College,  Ikoyi Obalende   for her Secondary Education.

Mrs  Omobolanle   Raheem  knew  no bounds in her  desire  for academic  pursuit. She cleared  all her  papers   at one  sitting  in her  SSCE and immediately  gained admission   to  study  Law  at the  Olabisi  Onabanjo University, she  attended   the Nigerian   Law  School,  Enugu   Campus  at Agbani   after  she  was  called  to  the Nigerian   Bar  as  a Barrister   and Solicitor  of  the  Federal   Republic   of  Nigeria bagging  her (BL) professional qualification.

She worked  in a law firm for some years advocating   for the rights  of the citizens.

Early 2018, Mrs. Omobolanle  Raheem  decided  to pivot  her  career  towards  real estate industry   and in 2020, her personal brand, Croston  Homes  Consulting was formed, to channel  her empathy and problem-solving  skills to helping people  find their dream  homes  and landed  properties in Lagos State.

She quickly became  one of the most  sought-after real estate  consultants in Lagos State  ,  known   for her  ability  to understand   the  needs  of her  clients  and  find properties   that   perfectly    matched    their   preferences    and   budgets. She   won multiple awards within  the real estate industry within  a short period  of time.

Mrs.  Raheem  was  known   for  her  tireless  work  ethic  and  her  commitment  to going  above  and  beyond  for her  clients.  Her  attitude towards work  was  above excellence. She  would  often work  long hours  and put in extra effort to ensure  that her  clients  were  satisfied   with   the  properties  they  purchased.   She  was  also known  for her ability  to negotiate  deals that were fair for both buyers  and sellers, earning  her a reputation as a skilled  and fair-minded real estate  consultant.

Mrs Raheem  was  also the Co-founder,   Chief Operating Officer of Citi Buildings Real Estate  and Property Development Ltd.

A Legal practitioner,  multiple award  winning realtor,  real estate coach,  real estate consultant,  and real estate  developer.

In  addition   to  her  work   ,  Mrs.  Raheem  was  also  active  in  her   community, volunteering her time and resources  to various  charitable causes.  She was deeply empathetic and  always  willing  to lend a helping  hand  to those in need.

Mrs.  Raheem’s untimely death at the hands of police brutality   shocked  and  left devastated   her  loved  ones  .the Nigerian   Bar Association,   entire  Lagos  State, the real  estate  industry at large,  her  friends  and  well-wishers.   She will always be remembered    as   a   respected     and    valued    member     of   the   Nigerian    Bar Association, real   estate  industry .her empathetic behavior   and  dedication   to her work  will never be forgotten.
