Federal High Court Judge, Mallong, Dies at 60

The Federal High Court headquarters in Abuja has been thrown into a mourning following the sudden death of one of its Judges, Hon Justice Peter Hoommuk Mallong.

Justice Mallong died on Sunday evening in Abuja at the age of 60.

The Chief Registrar of the Court, Hassan Amida Sulaiman confirmed the death in a  statement released on Monday.

The statement he personally signed read in part: “It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of our own, Hon. Justice Peter Hoommuk Mallong, a Judge of the Federal High Court.

“Justice Mallong passed away on 30th July, 2023, unexpectedly after a brief illness in Abuja. We will miss him more than words can express.

“Funeral arrangements will be communicated to the public in due time.”

Hon.Justice Mallong Peter Hoommuk was bornn on the 21st  of January, 1963 and died on the 30th of July, 2023.
