Gov. AbdulRazaq, NBA, Others Mourn Justice Sikiru Oyinloye

Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Nigeria  Bar Association NBA,  Attorney General and commissioner of justice of Kwara state and others have  described the death of  Justice Sikiru Oyinloye as painful and a great loss.

Oyinloye, a High Court judge died on Sunday during a brief illness  and buried at his country home, Ijara-Isin, Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State on Monday 24th April, 2023.

He was aged 58

AbdulRazaq in a statement signed by his chief press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye.message said  “We join the Kwara State Judiciary and the Nigerian bar to mourn the unfortunate death of Hon. Justice Oyinloye, a very upright and brilliant judge. We are consoled by the fact that he left a legacy of uprightness, hard work, and brilliance for which he was known within and outside of the court system,” the governor said in a statement on Sunday night, hours after the development.

“Our heartfelt condolences go to his family, the Kwara State judiciary, the good people of Isin local government, and everyone who mourns the late judge.

“ We pray to Allah to grant him Al-jannah Firdaus and comfort the family that survived him.

The Attorney General ,BARR Senior Ibrahim Sulyman, ESQ In a Statement signed by his Media Team,  described the late Judge as a shiny light of the Judiciary and pray for his acceptance into Jannah.

“The death of Justice Oyinloye was painfully shocking.

“He was a very upright and principled Judge. He was also very kind, especially beyond the walls of the Courtrooms. He will be missed for all the good things he’s done, he has left a good legacy justice, uprightness and fearlessness behind, we are consoled.” He added.

“We pray Allah erase his sins and accept his soul into Jannah, (Ameen). We pray Allah give his family, friends and loved ones the strength to bear this irreparable loss. Our condolences to the Judiciary, the Nigerian Bar Association as well.

He concluded.
