Date:

The 36 States Attorney Generals and Commissioners of Justice of the Federation, have pledged a working alliance with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to tackle the menace of corruption in the country.

The working alliance and commitment was made when the body of Attorney Generals and Commissioners of Justice of the Federation visited the ICPC headquarters.

The ICPC Chairman, Dr. Musa A. He emphatically stated that the partnership was necessary as the State Attorney Generals are critical stakeholders in the fight against corruption in the country.

He also assured them that the Commission under his leadership was ready to work hand-in-hand with them, providing whatever was needed from the ICPC for an effective fight against corruption.

In his words: “I want to assure you, whatever support the body wants from ICPC, we are willing to give it to you. We need you and I hope we are going to work together.”
