Kogi State Gets New Attorney General

The newly sworn in Governor of Kogi State has appointed Muiz Yinus Abdullahi, SAN as the Attorney General/Commissioner for Justice of Kogi State.

The newly appointed A.G. was one time NBA Chairman, Lokoja Branch.

He was one of the pioneer Students of KSU (now PAAU) generally identified as “KSU Law Class of 2004”. He was called to Nigerian Bar in 2005 and conferred with the rank of of SAN in 2022. He is reputed to be not only the first SAN  from KSU or PAAU but also the first product of the said Institution to be appointed into the prestigious position of Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.

Speaking to one of our Correspondents, the President of “KSU Law Class of 2004” J. U. Okpanachi, Esq. who was one time NBA Chairman, Idah Branch, described the new A.G. as a ‘dedicated and committed Legal Practitioner with many achievements and in whom KSU Law Class of 2004 is well pleased’.

He stated that going by his pedigree, the new A.G. would bring laudable and unprecedented reforms in the Kogi State Justice sector and beyond.
