KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax, and advisory firm, has launched KPMG Law US, a subsidiary dedicated to providing legal services, making it the first Big Four firm to establish a law firm serving the U.S. market.

According the notice issued by the firm, KPMG Law US aims to meet these evolving demands by integrating KPMG’s advanced technological capabilities with legal expertise, delivering AI-powered solutions and digital innovation to help legal departments operate more efficiently.
The statement noted further that the new firm will build upon KPMG’s existing Legal Business Services practice, offering legal managed services, legal operations consulting, and legal technology solutions. It will also collaborate with KPMG’s global network of law firms operating in over 80 jurisdictions, expanding its reach and ability to provide comprehensive, technology-driven legal services.

KPMG Law US will operate as an independently managed subsidiary, strategically aligned with KPMG’s Tax practice. It will leverage KPMG’s strong Arizona presence, where the firm currently serves more than 100 clients, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to quality, ethics, and professional standards.
