The Lagos State Judiciary has officially released its Long Vacation Schedule for the year 2025. According to the notice, the annual vacation will commence on Monday, July 22, 2025, and run through to Friday, September 13, 2025.
Normal court activities are set to resume on Monday, September 16, 2025.
During the vacation period, designated judges will be available to handle urgent matters. The notice emphasizes that only urgent and essential cases will be entertained during this time.
The Lagos Judiciary has consistently observed the long vacation tradition to allow for rest, administrative reviews, and to facilitate training. Legal practitioners and the general public are advised to take note of the dates and plan accordingly.
