Lagos State Judiciary Legal Year ceremony

The Lagos State Judiciary has announced the activities to mark the 2016 New Legal year. The programme for the week long event  as announced by M.O Shasanya, Director of Admin and Human Resources on behalf of the Legal Year Committee are as follows:

DAY 1 Monday 26th September ,2016
(d) Church Service at the Christ Cathedral Church, Marina at 10:00am
(e) Muslim prayer at the central Mosque,Nnamdi Azikiwe Road, Lagos at 10:00am
(f) Thereafter the usual parade and lunch at the High Court Premises, Igbosere Road, Lagos.

DAY 2 Tuesday, 27th September, 2016

(c) Visit to Ikoyi Prisons at 9:00am
(d) Bar/Bench Forum at the Foyer, High Court,Lagos at 2:00pm titled, Restorative Justice.

DAY 3 Wednesday,28 September,2016
Summit at the Foyer,Higher Court, Lagos at 9:00am titled “Mental Health Issues and the Law”

DAY 4 Thursday, 29th September, 2016
(a) Novelty Football March at Onikan Stadium at 9;00am

(b) Health Check

DAY 5 Friday, 30th September,2016
(c) Health check for Staff of the Lagos Judiciary at the 9:00am
(d) Dinner at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus at 6:00pm. The essence of the letter is to update the Association of the programme lined up for the week long activities.
