Law School Releases Amended 2022/2023 Academic Calendar

The Nigerian Law School has released the amended calendar for the 2022/2023 Academic session.

In the statement signed by the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma, SAN, and issued on July 18th, 2023.

The statement titled AMENDMENT OF THE 2022/2023 ACADEMIC CALENDAR reads in part “The ongoing Bar Final (Resit) Examinations and other compelling factors have made it imperative to effect the following changes on our current academic Calendar, that is, the 2022/2023 Academic Session:

  1. Resumption from the Externship Programme: The resumption date for the Externship Programme begins Monday, 7th August 2023.
  2. Portfolio Assessment Exercise: The Portfolio Assessment exercise commences Monday, 7th to Friday, 18th August 2023.
  3. 10 Weeks Lecture Period: The lecture period begins from Monday, 21st August to Friday, 4th November 2023.
  4. Bar Final Examinations: The Bar Final Examinations commences from 12th Friday to 17th November 2023.

These new date supersede the earlier dates indicated on the 2022/2023 Academic Calendar Academic Calendar. Kindly take note of the dates and ensure compliance.
